Yes, it’s true. The loudest, proudest, pinkest house in the San Fernando Valley—me, Willis Wonderland—is on the market.
But hold up. This isn’t a sad story. And it doesn’t have to be the end.
Listen, when I first heard whispers that I was going up for sale, I started to freak out. But I calmed down when it was explained to me.
(If you’re new here, I’m the Streamline Moderne pink palace that songwriter and creative badass Allee Willis turned into her greatest living artwork. She’s the genius behind hits like “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” and even the “Friends” theme.)
Here’s the deal
I’m not looking for a “new owner” to move in. I’m looking for a patron. A partner. Someone who sees me for what I already am: a living work of art. Someone who wants to protect that and invest in keeping this cultural treasure alive. Someone who gets that what’s happening now is just as important as what came before.
The ideal buyer would let the Willis Wonderland Foundation keep working out of the house and doing what they do best: carrying Allee’s legacy forward in ways that spark connection and radiate S-O-U-L.
I’ve been called a lot of things over the years: wild, crazy, over-the-top. But the one I’ve always loved most is safe space. A creative safe space, to be exact. I’ve seen it time and again. Folks walk in and feel like they can finally exhale. Like they’ve been seen. Like maybe they could live a more creative life too.
I stand out in a world gone boring, beige, and AI-generated. I’m the antidote. And I’m proud of that.
There’s already a strong team working inside these walls. They’re not guessing. They know who Allee was, who I am, what I stand for, and what I’m still capable of. They’ve been busy dreaming up what’s next: events, workshops, and gatherings that bring people together through joy, creativity, and deep cultural magic.
Allee’s favorite title wasn’t “songwriter” or “artist.” It was “party thrower.” The team knows that. And they’re not about to let her down.
Look, before Allee, I was just real estate. But she turned me into something more. A one-of-a-kind safe space that invites people to be their weirdest, wildest selves.
She left behind more than a legacy. She left momentum. The right person will help keep it moving.
A few things you might be wondering…
Why not make me into a museum?
No thanks. I have never been and will never be a frozen-in-time exhibit. I’m a place where new stories are being made. New songs being written. New art being crafted. I’m still very much alive.
Can I visit before it’s gone?
Again, ideally, I’m not going anywhere! But, maybe yes. As I said, the team is exploring ways for people to visit me through special events and small-group tours. More on that below.
What about Allee’s stuff?
There will be an estate sale and/or auction of some kind. But if all goes as planned (see above), I won’t be dismantled. The team here has been excavating excess neat-o stuff from inside my walls and from off-site storage. This is a thoughtful clearing and a paring down to my essence.
So what happens next?
That depends on who steps forward, and how soon. If you or someone you know has the means and vision to thoughtfully park their money in a culturally significant masterpiece—me!—please reach out. The Foundation is open to conversations, partnerships, and possibilities.
Don’t just read this and scroll away. If this tugs at your heart, take action.
Forward this. Share it. Tell your most visionary, deep-pocketed friend. That person who always says they want to support the arts, or who collects one-of-a-kind things, or who just gets it. This is their moment.
These walls are still talking. But they need the right investor with vision and heart to help keep the story going.
You don’t have to buy me to be in the know.
Maybe you're hoping to visit. Maybe you want first dibs on the estate sale. Or maybe you’re just curious to see what kind of magic happens next.

That’s where the invites will go first. And trust me, you’ll want to be on that list.
Kisses!

Look, I adore being talked about. That’s how stories spread and legacies live on. So yes, share a photo, a GIF, a quote (just a snippet, not the entire post please).
